Why this water?
Pure, mysterious and natural – these are the characteristics of our unique Acqua Alpes fragrances. What makes these Acqua Alpes fragrances so unique is the crystal-clear mountain water that penetrates the surfaces from the pristine depths of the Alps. We particularly use this pure water as a core element for our fragrances, making them unique.
The origin
The clear mountain water that emanates has spent roughly two decades traveling through numerous layers of rock. Not only do these numerous layers of rock naturally clean the water, but they also enrich it with countless minerals. Water that undergoes this revitalization method has a refreshing temperature of 4 degrees Celsius upon emerging from the Alps. Cooled water naturally has excellent drinking quality that not every expensive mineral water can match.
This is why many locals call crystal-clear mountain water "blue gold" to express the natural water's uniqueness and immeasurable value. Mountain water is the best example of the old adage, "all good things are worth waiting for." The water undergoes continuous refinement during its time in the Alps, bringing delight at the source thanks to its unique quality. Thanks to its slightly increased pH value, the mountain water is an ideal medium for our fragrances since it unfurls their unique nuances with exquisite refinement and elegance. Clear water is the foundation for our fragrances and the reason why they are unique masterpieces, because we are the world's first and only perfume manufacturer that uses this incredibly valuable resource as a foundation for our fragrances.
Natural cleaning & enrichment
The Alps are the largest freshwater reservoir in Europe and not least because of this a particularly worthy area. In winter, the mountains store water in the form of snow and ice, while it gradually returns the stored water in the warmer summer months - but only after it is slowly peeled by the many layers of rock for decades.
This slow and yet very steady and repetitive process is the secret behind the clarity of the pure water: the rock layers clean the water with each layer a bit more and simultaneously give the water their valuable minerals with them on the way.
The mountain water is the best example of the old wisdom, "which lasts for a long time, will finally be good". Over the course of its time in the Alps, the water continues to be refined, so that it is enthralised by its unique quality at the source. We also want to have this unique quality for our fragrances. Due to its slightly elevated pH, the mountain water is an ideal carrier for our fragrance notes, as this makes the individual nuances unfold particularly fine and noble. The clear water is the basis for our fragrances and thus makes our creations masterpieces that do not exist a second time, because we are the first and worldwide only perfume manufacturer to take this incomprehensible valuable resource as the basis for its fragrances. Thanks to this noble base, we create enchantingly pure Acqua Alpes Fragrances, whose harmonious notes and outstanding quality can be immediately recognized even for a fine nose.
